- Recognized as 2008 Staff Member of the Year
- Coached collegiate basketball for 22 years. While at New Mexico State University as the Associate Head Coach/Assistant Coach, his teams had 5 NCAA Division I Tournament Appearances (Sweet 16), 2 NIT Appearances (Elite Eight), and Pre-season NIT (Final Four), As the Head Basketball Coach at Cedarville University he was twice named NCCAA Regional Coach of the Year and has published 12 articles in professional magazines.
