Jerry Adler has had a 31 year teaching career at LMU: 16 years in the School of Film and Television where he developed the Entertainment Industry Careers course which currently being taught by a former student; 10 years in the College of Business Administration where he developed the Entertainment Management course; 9 years, and currently, in the Communication Studies Department where he developed the Entertainment Management & Communication course.
 
 Professionally his 35 year career in the television industry encompassed experience as an executive and producer for such companies as Universal Television, CBS Television, Warner Bros. Playboy and ESPN.
