Biography

Jessica Ching is the Co-Founder and CEO of Eve Medical. Following her passion to integrate design and healthcare, she invented HerSwab and founded Eve Medical after graduating from OCAD University. Since then, she and her team have successfully brought HerSwab from early concept to commercial launch. Jessica is a recipient of the Martin Walmsley Fellowship for Technological Entrepreneurship, was named one of the Globe & Mail's Top 12 Canadian Innovators, and a finalist in Genentech's global Quest Award to End Cervical Cancer.

But I was interested in the intersection between design and health care,” she says. Ms. Ching is co-founder (with Evan Moses) and chief executive officer of Eve Medical Inc., a Toronto startup that has developed a product called HerSwab for women to test themselves for cervical cancer.
