Biography

Bratton is an anthropologist whose research focuses on gender, sexuality, reproduction, feminist ethnography, identity/representation, education, and socialization. She also studies the anthropological reasons for why people travel, migrate and seek refuge in other countries. Other main interests include research on African comparative cultural issues, the relationship between food and culture, and folklore.
